Introduction rural social work may be defined as the practice of social work in any setting identified by those present in the area as rural this may include farming mining fishing logging or ranching communities and small towns and villages of many types. In my coutry the rural work is many important for the national economy but in the book my big coutry and big rural space isnt mencioned more than 60 of the brazilians is rural economy dependent the urbanization crossing the 50 the cities of the my coutry be stagned the work market the workers dont has especialized . Social work in rural communities a is not nearly as generalist as in urban social work b requires that dual or multiple relationships are to be avoided at all costs. Rural social work throughout the course special emphasis will be given to the service needs of populations at risk eg people of color people with disabilities women gay and lesbian persons residing in rural communities and to the social service delivery issues encountered in the rural environment.
